...is not just the title to one of my current favorite songs - it is MY LIFE! That's right folks the Yerrick's have been without AC since Sunday night. In the desert...in August. Enjoyable.
Sunday we went to church as usual, came home and then headed to the Criswell's to enjoy their beautiful new home and pool. Sunday night after the festivities we got home it seemed a little warm, but not unbearable. But by the time we went to bed we noticed that the air hadn't kicked in. We messed with the thermostat and the breaker box...nothing. So we called the property manager yesterday and someone came out this morning. The good news - its not the AC. The bad news, there is no power getting to the AC unit and we have to wait for an electrician to come out tomorrow (hopefully) and figure out what is going on.
So we have been spending our days enjoying the Criswell's new pool and our nights enjoying the Shepard's guest room while they are out of town. Thankfully it has been overcast the last few days and the house is only up to about 86...which could be MUCH worse. We are hoping that everything will be fixed by tomorrow.
When I am at the house and trying to stay completely still I will be filling you in on everything that has been going on since I am being "yelled" at for not being a good blogger. ;)

ugh, that's unfortunate and bad timing! at least you have friends with pools and air-conditioned spare bedrooms you all can crash in. i hope the a/c gets fixed asap!
